What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Stephen Fry on The Meaning of Life with Gay Byrne (RTÉ One, 10.30pm)

So we’ve all seen THAT segment about ‘an evil God’, but tonight we’ll hear the whole blimmin’ lot of Gay Byrne’s interview with Stephen Fry. There will be more from Stephen on his childhood, his criminal past, and his sexuality. If Friday’s clip was the teaser, it’s bound to be a great watch. #meaningoflife

Room To Improve (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

Last week, everyone was up in arms over tins of beans being converted into lampshades. What in the name of God is going to happen this week? Well, we’ll meet a couple who want to turn a 19th century former schoolhouse into a family home. That’ll go well. #roomtoimprove

Peaky Blinders (RTÉ2, 9.55pm)

If you didn’t catch it on the BBC, watch Victorian crime drama Peaky Blinders from the very beginning here. Cillian Murphy stars as Thomas Selby, the head of a Birmingham criminal gang who earned their name from the blades they sew into their flat caps. Selby must defend his turf as a new Chief Inspector threatens to ruin his empire. #peakyblinders

Everyone’s talking about… #GameOfThrones

Season 5 of the show is almost here, and fans are worried that HBO may run out of material before George RR Martin gets his ass in gear and writes another book.

Well… Their fears may not be unfounded. Five Thirty Eight did the research and predicted that Martin will release the final book around 2023 – years after the TV series is proposed to finish up. Eek.
